It is well known for the surfer even its name a secret( rahasia ). It's position in the lane of bypass Tohpati-kusamba at Ketewel village of Gianyar regency. It is hunted by alot of surfers either local tourist or foreign one. It was called secret beach as nobody knows the potential wave it has perfect for surfing.A surfer from sanur who was named serang was found this place on 1988 together with two partners from Kuta. They was great fight the wild wave as it was still natural. Before Bypass Tohpati-Kusamba released yet, to reached this place we have to pass Batubulan terminal first. From Batubulan passed ricefield we will get a people complex closed to the beach. Then transport will be parked here and continued by foot in the ricefield. By the surfer from sanur then it was called Sanur secret point. Time to time it was growth, a lot of visitors coming in , it was japannese mostly. On 1994- 1995 it was increased and japannese dominated as Sanur surfer invited. On 1996 the way to get here was opened as promoted by worldwide magazine.So it was not secret anymore. December till April in the rainy season exactly, is lovely time for surfing in this beach on black sand surrounding. At that time the wind fight against the wave exactly. Along the beach, it has 10 points for surfing.There are : Coconut beach, Pica point, Little Nias, Biaung( secret point), Temple point, Second secret, Secret tewel, and etc. Even it's not really perfect conditionly but keep hunted by the surfer, as nicely character, and good place for the beginner or pro surfer.
